Manthorpe’s External Corners are designed for use in horizontal abutment situations when a change of direction is required around an external corner.

    Product Description

    The GW297 External Corner is used where a straight horizontal cavity tray system is required to change direction around an external corner.
    Locating ribs ensure a positive overlap while the attached mastic tape creates a tight bonded seal.
    The GW297 External Corner tray can also be supplied with short, standard or long lead stapled and sealed to the tray in either code 4 or code 5 (special order).

  • Technical

    Fitting Requirements

    Remove the backing from sealant tape and place the corner tray in position. Line up the horizontal trays, trimming them down to length where necessary, and press firmly into position ensuring a watertight overlapped seal is made between the trays.

    Lift up the assembled trays and bed down on a thin layer of mortar.
