Horizontal Cavity Tray System


Manthorpe’s Stop Ends are designed for use in horizontal abutment situations to prevent water entering the cavity.

    Product Description

    The GW298 and GW299 Stop Ends are designed for use with the horizontal cavity tray system and prevent water discharging into the cavity.
    Each stop end is supplied with mastic tape ensuring a tight bonded joint is achieved between the stop end and tray.

  • Technical

    Fitting Requirements

    Remove the backing from sealant tape and place the stop end in position. Line up the horizontal tray, trimming it down to length where necessary, and press firmly into position ensuring a watertight overlapped seal is made between the tray.

    Lift up the assembly and bed down on a thin layer of mortar.
